In brief

  • Lightweight hydration is a reason to consider a toner, according to Eden SkinStore.
  • PDRN amounts are brand claims, not concentrations independently tested by us.
  • Checked purchase prices span $18.00 to $30; sizes are not available for every listing.
  • A topical PDRN label does not establish the outcomes reported for injections.
  • Follow the individual product’s directions rather than treating all pads and sprays alike.

What a PDRN toner is for

A PDRN toner is an option for lightweight hydration, according to retailer Eden SkinStore. Its routine guide places toner near the beginning of skincare and moisturizer near the end. That makes the format a possible addition when you want a lighter step, not a reason to replace your entire routine.

The format includes more than bottles labeled toner. ProtoClinical describes Anua’s PDRN mist as a watery essence spray with fine oil capsules, while Leaders Cosmetics USA describes its pads as daily treatments for hydration, smoother-looking texture and glow. These are retailer descriptions and brand claims, not results from our own testing.

A topical PDRN label does not establish injection-like results. ProtoClinical explicitly cautions against transferring outcomes from injections, medical devices or wound-care products to an over-the-counter toner or serum. Our PDRN overview provides broader context; the sources here do not establish that these formats reproduce those outcomes.

What is on the market

The tracked official-store listings include bottled toners and ready-soaked pads. VT Cosmetics lists VT Cosmetics PDRN TONER and VT Cosmetics PDRN Tension Toner Pad. Genabelle lists Genabelle PDRN Rejuvenating Toner 300ml and Genabelle PDRN Dual Glow Serum Mist 100ml, covering both a toner bottle and a mist format.

Anua’s listings cover toner, spray and pads: Anua PDRN 100 Hyaluronic Acid Booster Toner, Anua PDRN Collagen Glow Facial Serum Spray and Anua PDRN 100 Hyaluronic Acid Glow Pad. If you searched for “anua pdrn spray,” the facial serum spray is the corresponding product in the supplied official-store records.

medicube lists medicube PDRN Pink Niacinamide Milky Toner, medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Toner, medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Glow Jelly Mist Serum and medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Gel Toner Pad. Those names span toner, mist serum and pad formats; the names alone do not establish how their results compare.

Other tracked listings are innisfree Retinol Green Tea PDRN™ Skinbooster Toner, Mediheal PDRN Lifting Pad, Glow Recipe PDRN+ Repair + Soothe Korean Toner Pads and Leaders Cosmetics USA PDRN 0.5% Essence Pad. Our product directory covers the wider category. Retailer search listings were also found for several products, but their sellers and prices were not checked.

What PDRN amounts on labels mean

Printed PDRN amounts are brand claims, not concentrations independently tested by us. VT Cosmetics states that its toner contains 50,000ppm PDRN, and Genabelle states that its mist contains 3,000 ppm. Leaders Cosmetics USA lists 0.5% for its essence pad. These declarations do not establish a concentration-based ranking of results.

The brands also describe different sources for their PDRN ingredients. VT Cosmetics calls its ingredient vegan phyto PDRN derived from Korean wild ginseng extract. Glow Recipe describes a plant-derived complex made from white rice and prickly pear. Neither description establishes equivalent performance between those formulas or with other PDRN products.

An ingredient name is useful context, but it is not an outcome claim. ProtoClinical identifies Sodium DNA as the INCI name used for Anua’s PDRN ingredient, and Leaders Cosmetics USA also identifies its PDRN as Sodium DNA. The sources supplied here do not establish absorption or comparative effectiveness for these toner, spray and pad formulas.

Prices and sizes

Checked purchase prices span $18.00 for VT Cosmetics PDRN TONER to $30 for a one-time purchase of Glow Recipe PDRN+ Repair + Soothe Korean Toner Pads. The official-store checks are dated October 8, 2026. Several listings show markdowns, so treat the displayed prices as dated observations rather than permanent prices.

Bottle sizes make some comparisons more useful than sticker prices alone. Genabelle’s toner is $20.50 for 300 ml; medicube’s peptide toner is $21.00 for 250 ml; innisfree’s toner is $28.00 for 170 ml. Genabelle’s mist is $21.00 for 100 ml, while medicube’s mist serum is $22.00 for 100 ml.

Pad packs require a separate comparison. Mediheal lists $26.40 for 100 pads, Glow Recipe lists $30 for 60 pads, and Leaders Cosmetics USA lists $25.00 for 70 pads with 135 mL of product. Sizes are not supplied for every tracked listing, so the available facts do not support a complete value comparison.

How to choose

Choose a format that fills a gap rather than building a full PDRN routine. That is Eden SkinStore’s recommendation. It suggests toner when lightweight hydration is the priority; ProtoClinical reports that Anua permits its mist over makeup and when skin feels dry. Those uses can guide format selection without promising a treatment result.

Check the formula description and directions before choosing PDRN toner pads for exfoliation. ProtoClinical cautions that Anua’s mild, texture-refining toner description does not make it a replacement for a dedicated acid exfoliant. Glow Recipe describes its pads as acid-free. A pad format or a smoothing claim alone is not a reason to assume acid exfoliation.

Keep existing treatment steps in view. ProtoClinical recommends a simple PDRN routine when using a retinoid or exfoliant, rather than layering every format. See PDRN versus retinol for that comparison. For pregnancy, allergies or a skin condition, discuss product selection with a board-certified dermatologist rather than relying on a brand’s suitability claim.

How to use it

Use the directions for the individual formula. According to ProtoClinical, Anua directs users to apply its toner after cleansing with fingertips or a cotton pad, morning or night. Eden SkinStore recommends layering lighter textures before richer textures and following individual directions, with broad-spectrum sunscreen at the end of a morning routine.

Pad instructions differ between brands. ProtoClinical reports that Anua’s method uses the peptide gel side as a five-minute mini mask, then a gentle wipe with the plain side and patting in the essence. Leaders Cosmetics USA instructs users to swipe gently after cleansing, avoid the immediate eye area, and optionally leave pads on dry areas for 3–5 minutes.

Do not assume every pad needs the same frequency. ProtoClinical says Anua provides no universal Glow Pad frequency rule and advises reducing or pausing use if wiping causes redness or stinging. It also recommends introducing a new leave-on formula at a time. Persistent reactions warrant a board-certified dermatologist’s advice; our side-effects guide provides related context.

Questions readers ask

What does PDRN toner do?

Eden SkinStore recommends PDRN toner when lightweight hydration is the main priority. VT Cosmetics also claims moisture and smoother-looking texture for its toner. Those descriptions do not establish injection-like effects: ProtoClinical cautions that a shared PDRN label does not transfer results from injections or medical products to topical skincare.

Can you use PDRN mist over makeup?

For Anua’s mist, ProtoClinical reports that official directions permit use over makeup and when skin feels dry. That is product-specific guidance, not a rule for every PDRN spray. Check the directions on the exact formula you buy rather than extending Anua’s instructions to another brand.

Can you use PDRN toner with retinol?

ProtoClinical recommends keeping a PDRN routine simple when using a retinoid or exfoliant rather than layering every format. Eden SkinStore suggests morning PDRN use when an evening routine already includes retinal and other treatment products. These guides do not establish compatibility for every formula; ask a board-certified dermatologist about prescription treatments.

Can you use PDRN toner pads every day?

The answer depends on the product. Glow Recipe says its pads can be used daily in the morning and evening, while ProtoClinical says Anua provides no universal frequency rule for its Glow Pad. ProtoClinical advises reducing or pausing use if wiping contributes to redness, stinging or a sudden loss of tolerance.
